I've bought tickets a few times on Stubhub.com before. It's not an auction site like E-Bay. You simply see a ticket you like at the listed price and, if you want it, you buy it.
And if you are thinking about Super Bowl tickets, here ya go.
Sure, I'm not one that thinks it's worth ten grand to sit elbow to elbow with a stranger watching a football game in person. Especially when for one-tenth that cost you could buy a big screen super duper HDTV and have a better "seat" anyway. BUT...if it's important to someone and they have the money, who are we to argue it's a waste? Maybe that person has the extra money because they have a sensible car, not wasting their money on a big "manly" truck that never hauls anything. Or maybe someone can afford the ticket because they don't waste their money on stupid bass boats, or they are not living in a $250,000 house with $2,000 a month payments because all their stuff fits just fine in a $100,000 house with $750 per month payments. Or maybe someone thinks going to see the Super Bowl would be cool instead of a vacation to Australia. Or instead of a boob job. Maybe it's on their list of "things to do before I die. Or maybe money is just not the most important thing in their life, living is. High dollar tickets are not for me, but I better look around at how I spend my money before I start critiques of others and how they spend theirs.
Maybe Bob Perry, the home builder, not the governor, will buy say......oh....9 or so tickets...and "donate" them to say.....oh.....9 or so State of Texas judges.
Hey....wait....he already gave the 9 of them $340K. They can buy their own tickets.

Wow, There really is a sucker born every minute.
Geeeezzzzzze!
Super Bowl tickets are a BIGGER waste of money than tickets to listen to Bill Clinton.
It APPEARS as though there are TOO many people who are all too WILLING to WASTE their time and money.
