I WAS ISSUED A WARNING EARLIER TODAY IN RHOME FOR FAILING TO DISPLAY A FRONT LICENSE PLATE....THE FEMALE OFFICER WAS VERY NICE, NOT RUDE AT ALL.

They really ought to paint their swastika emblem on the side of it. You know, spruce it up a bit. And represent!

TO FUNNY I LOVE THE VAN.

Anonymous said...

They plan to start writing tickets for no front license plate to address the vehicle identification issue

Anonymous said...

Is the guy in the van a rhome police officer?

PHOTOBLOCKER.COM

problem solved...........

Hitler is alive and well in Rhome!
The new police cruisers will be the VW Jetta.

The swastika van should be the new logo on Barry's business card. He should do nothing but Rhome speed tickets. Show the people the photoblocker.com webpage Barry!

That edited picture would make a good postcard...GREETINGS FROM RHOME! It would make a good T shirt too. I would love to see the citizens of Rhome wear one to council meetings. Barry , better yet why dont you come to the next meeting??

Anonymous said...

I wonder if the Nazi van blog will get more comments than the Rhome blog a while back that had over 300 comments. Thats got to be a record.

If this van's a rock'n, don't come knock'n!!!!

THAT FEMALE OFFICER IS PROBLEY THE ONLY DECENT ONE THERE........I KNOW HER PERSONALLY..BUT THE OTHER ONES ARE JUST PRICKS..THEY PULLED ME OVER...AND RAN MY LICENSE AND SEARCHED MY TRUCK FOR MOPRE THAN AN HOUR.............

Anonymous said...

Put a "McKenzie Kitchens for Mayor" bumper sticker on the camera lens.

I only see one person in the van and with the blue jeans it does not appear to be a police officer, I wounder who is witnessing the traffic offenses?
I would bet with so few officers that the van is going out with just the nester employee at times.

So I'm thinking there are still some states that you don't have to have a front license plate - how are our Rhome Nazi's going to deal with this? I would consider 287 a major thoroughfare, don't ya'll? So, some copper who reads this blog, please enlighten me.

Anonymous said...

If Rhome got rid of the cameras, and then hired 10 police cruisers and officers that did nothing but sit all along the highway and pull people over right and left, would everyone feel better about it? You'd still not be allowed to speed. It's their town, it's their law. Don't drive through Rhome if you don't like it. You do not have to drive through Rhome. There are other ways to get to wherever you are going on the other side of Rhome. I bet an accident or maybe even a fatality has already been prevented because some people are slowing down through there. Trouble is, Rhome can't prove an accident was avoided or a life was saved. All they know is they are tired of cars and trucks flying through their town where their residents have to enter and exit the highway.

CURRENTLY in the U.S. states of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia, license plates are ONLY required on the REAR of the vehicle.

I am beginning to see the common thread with Rhome and Newark. What would Nazi Rhome be without Meth? Someones got to be the cook.

Anonymous said...

Funny Barry! I bet Rhome police are loving you right now.;)

I agree with the post stating that you will never be able to show the number of accidents prevented, but maybe mayor mark could tell us the statistics that were used to decide to put in use this camera system.Did he consider;
1. How many accidents occured in rhome city limits last year?
2. How many were fatal accidents?
OR
As reported by the Wise County Messenger, that the council was upset that the number of tickets had decreased from 300 a month to 70.
It is not if a law is enforced or not, it is the way you enforce it. I am willing to bet that if a marked police car is on the roadway, 100 cars slow down for every one stopped. This has slowed traffic and changed driver behavior. If you hide in a van and mail someone a ticket, you are changing that behavior one car at a time.
It is like in the old west, you did'ny shoot someone in the back....but maybe rhome is getting good at shooting people in the back.

From the numbers I saw, Rhome has about 1 fatality wreck per year.

I agree that folks on 287 need to slow down. But I think Rhome is going to go overboard with this and do something really stupid, like jail somebody who wasn't driving just because they own the car.

Rhome City council recently announced the old school will be surrounded with razor wire and patrolled by the councils recent decision to have a canine added to the force. "Homosexuals, Jews, and people who cannot afford the speed camera tickets will just have to learn to fit into society, there is zero tolerance for anyone who disagrees with our council." the new chief was quoted as saying. The council also voted 4-1 to publicly hang the two Prairie View Elementary first graders responsible for the 1981 robbery of Harveys grocery store. Cash, Dutch Boy paint , and 2 chic-o-sticks were reported missing. The case remain unsolved for years. Councilwoman Robinson cast the only opposing vote. " How can 2 kids who werent even born in 1981 commit such a heinus crime?" , Robinson Protested. "They are very clever" said the Mayor.

Make a fake copy of the Nestor van plate, put it on your vehicle, then drive it like you stole it!

Anonymous said...

ok well for all you queers out there if you dont like the freaking cameras DONT SPEED!!! it is that simple ..if you dont want a ticket dont speed .. I love the cameras my uncle was a DPS officer and he was killed on the side of the road by a speeding driver while writing a ticket.
I totally disagree with the cop car slowing somebody down if you see the guy pulling someone over your not going to slow down because you think that he is busy, and i bet if you are mailed a ticket from rhome i bet you wont speed through there again so the camras are 100% effective.

3:47 p/m said "I WAS ISSUED A WARNING EARLIER TODAY IN RHOME FOR FAILING TO DISPLAY A FRONT LICENSE PLATE....THE FEMALE OFFICER WAS VERY NICE, NOT RUDE AT ALL."

That is nice of you to say that the female officer was not rude, but how many other police departments would stop you for not having a front plate? Kinda like the tax collector sending you a reminder.

And 6:33 p/m said "Trouble is, Rhome can't prove an accident was avoided or a life was saved. All they know is they are tired of cars and trucks flying through their town where their residents have to enter and exit the highway"
Not true...120 rhome citizens signed a petition saying that they did not want officers in the highway but rather patroling in the neighborhoods.

Now the council has hired a guy, the best out of 70 applicants and the pride of Sunset,Texas, as the new chief. I am not surprised that the mayor was quoted in saying that he stops alot of cars and is bringing with him a drug dog. I guess soon we will read of a civil rights violation, something to do with the forth amendment maybe?

Anonymous said...

5:39 stated he only saw someone in blue jeans in the van. A police officer is not required to be in uniform to fulfil his duties.

Anonymous said...

8:20 a/m...you are correct that an officer does not, in some cases, be in a distinctive uniform to perform law enforcement activities. But, in the case of the speed enforcement camera, you have a civilian Nestor employee AND a peace officer (two people in the van). So are you saying that the tech that is a Nestor employee is now sworn in as a rhome cop? I have seen on more then one occasion that there was only one person occupying the van. Explain that one?

Wow - forth amendment civil rights violation using a drug dog? How could that happen?

Anonymous said...

7:18 PM, maybe we should put cameras in your grandmothers shower. Slip and fall accidents kill more than speeders.

Anonymous said...

Hell 8:20 AM , in Rhome even the crooks in the backseat arent required to be in uniform!

Anonymous said...

Oh no, not a drug dog for Rhome! The mayors trailer park will lose half its residents!
Bywell estates cant stay in business if half the residents are in county!

Anonymous said...

If we had more cameras on the border, they wouldnt be needed in Rhome.

Anonymous said...

You are an idiot if you this a van taking pictures is more effecting at stopping speeding than a distinctly marked patrol car prominent sitting on the side of the road for all to see.

If Rhome was interested in slowing traffic down, they would put more officers out in visible places.

Rhome is more interested in $$$ and demonstrating what fools the town gov has become.

a small town run by even smaller people.

12:45 p/m the forth amendment,in part, covers searches and with more case law then any other amendment I believe it would be difficult for a police chief who can not read( if he could he would not have came to rhome)to keep up with the updated opinions ( hence the I'll do it till I get caught or it get's thrown out mentality of police departments who try to make a living off the highway).

AND before you start talking about the war on drugs and keeping our children safe, I would bet that there are three times the number of drugs on FM's and County Roads then 287 or 114. Our drug dealers, the ones that effect our community, are not on the main highways were that dog is going to be looking for the mother load so that rhome can seize a 1984 Ford Pinto for the mayor to drive or sell in police auction for $75

THERE ARE NO SPEEDERS IN NEWARK OR THE DQ WHERE YOU NORMALLY SEE THE RHOME CAR. HIGH POLICE VISABILATY MUST BE WORKING!

Idiots ! Tell me how a camera can catch a drunk driver ! Get to the REAL reasons this is a slap in the face. Can a camerta catch a person with warrents ?

Jumpin' Catfish! The Rhome Nazi Camera van has gotten so much attention and given the city such a black eye that people forgot all about farmers branh and their illegal alien troubles!

Anonymous said...

Drug Test the city Council.

Anonymous said...

People don't understand that their rights are slipping away a little at a time. The camera is effective at catching speeders and hopefully it keeps the amount of accidents to a minimum.

Next they will be placing cameras in our homes and sending us tickets for the way we have dinner, drink too much beer and fall over in the backyard.

Where does it stop???

Anonymous said...

www.nestor.com

Write them and tell them to get out of Rhome. Company info available on their website.
Rhome needs a Nestor SS Nazi Van like Newark needs an underground subway system.

Anonymous said...

If the new drug dog busts all the Rhome dopers, how will the council get reelected???

Anonymous said...

Rhome city council recently voted to a partnership with Northrop Grumman to have a submarine docked at the stock pond across from Chisolm Trail Middle school to combat the F350 pickup driving soccer moms who illegally park there, creating havoc along the Rhome-Newark corridor. The new sub will have a state of the art periscope that can spot this criminal activity more than a mile away. The sub will then radio the Rhome SWAT team who will blend in on the school playground as typical wise county teens in Marilyn Manson T shirts who have been held back twice, and swarm into action with pad and pencil in hand to deal the ticket writing blow to this criminal element.

Nestor and some police agencies use a sworn police officer as not only the testifying officer, but the technician as well. He is paid by Nestor. Marble Falls is an example. In the case of Rhome, that is not so. Or so I hear.

I wonder what will happen to a person getting caught taking pictures of adults who do not consent to that photograph.
