This is what I see when I get to "approve" a proposed comment. I just got this one in connection with the most recent State of the Union post. (Click to enlarge.)
Now, see, if you would have just toned down the language a bit I would have approved the post without any trouble. I don't mind the attack, just drop the F Bomb, the S bomb, the A bomb (oh, that's probably ok), and the Dip-S Bomb then you would have gone right to the post.
But, sir, I don't chase ambulances.

barry, that comment was totally uncalled for and i apologize for that idiot. i appreciate your blog. i don't agree with some stuff but that attack was vicious and mean.

Good for you, Barry. An intelligent person could easily express these sentiments in a civil manner. I enjoy people's comments - even tho I frequently disagree with their logic. The abusive language is just not necessary.

The foul language doesn't bother me as much as the flaming posts where people call others' sexual orientation/sensibilities/parentage and social standing into question - or if they live in Decatur.

What I find MOST troubling about THAT type of comment is the INTOLERANCE the commentator has for Barry.
That type of person causes MORE harm to themselves with their hate speech than they EVER cause to others. However, the ACTIONS of intolerant people can be devastating to the World.
INTOLERANCE is THE cause of MUCH of the World's problems. INTOLERANCE is a by-product of FEAR.

Cool, I think most people, except the ones in Newark, can fill in the blank spots to see what I said. So I got my point across without being censored since you posted it anyway. It needed to be said. Isn't it amazing all the things the liberals have said and called Bush, but when you call a liberal an ambulance chaser, then my friend you have crossed the line.
