Pretty fascinating stuff. Pastor Ted Haggard (yep, that one) plays a prominent role as well as Jerry Falwell.
I think I was most interested in the opening scene of Joel Olsteen's Lakewoood megachurch in Houston - housed in the former home of the Houston Rockets. Just the sheer numbers were amazing.
HBO site is here. Caveat: The Alexandra Pelosi is the daughter of Nancy Pelosi.
Edit: BagOfNothing.com uploaded a quick excerpt of Ted Haggard talking about how Christian's have better sex. It' gold.

It's amazing what you can slam with daddy's money and mimi's name recognition.
Didn't John F'ing Kerry's daughter try the same career field with her mommy's money? Want what happened to her budding career?
Read that Nance was none-too-pleased with the amount of respect Alexandra exhibited towards President Bush.
Some kids turn out better than their parents. =)
That road show will go tits up when they speed thru Rhome and have a heart attack from the fine.
Is there an accelerator, or a tractor beam of some kind, that forces people to speed through Rhome? Or is it just an addiction? Must be very, very important things most of you seem to have going on. My gosh, if you arrived 20 or 30 seconds later because you had to obey the law through a small town...heaven forbid your important, busy lives survive the trauma. Do you speed through a Sonic? Or where kids get dropped off at school? A church parking lot? Do you like flying past school buses that are stopped letting off kids on rural highways? If not, then why not? It's a speed limit, after all. So screw all of em, right?
Nancy will ultimately take us on the real trip!!!
I won Barry!!!!!!NExt shutdown the blog!!!! one liberal at a time

Please release us, let us be.
And, MzCreep, just keep your trap shut. I could care less how much you bold and italicize a response to my post.
It was surprisingly an alright documentary.... basically just told a story of the road trip instead of being opinionated in one direction. She had alot of good questions that I think alot of viewers had as well...
