Random Monday Morning Thoughts

I don't know who the Dallas lawyer was, but I posted this primarily because of our very casually dressed County Judge who wouldn't dare be seen that way today in a widely circulated photo.

  • Story.
  • The key to this story is that the jury found she acted intentionally.  But I can't find a single report explaining the facts of the case.

  • Fire Round-Up:
    • Oh, my.

    • That's a big, big house.
    • A little Wise County action once it got dark on Saturday night.

    • No details on how this happened.

    • Looks menacing.

  • You do know we are going to pay dearly for this one of these days, right?

  • Marching right down the National Mall.

    • "Members of the group Patriot Front ride the metro as a commuter looks on, during the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence in Washington, D.C., U.S., July 4, 2026. REUTERS/Cheney Orr"

  • Trump selected craziness:
    • "Eight of the people Trump pardoned were diesel mechanics or car tuners who were prosecuted for selling and installing so-called 'defeat devices' into trucks."

    • On the morning of the Fourth of July, he posted this.

    • No, the Declaration of Independence does not say that.

  • So he might not play?
    • Or he will play? . . . .
