I finally saw Oliver Stone's World Trade Center and I'll give it a resounding "not bad." It has some very moving parts but I wasn't necessarily overwhelmed. I don't think anything can recreate what it would have been like to have been there that day.
I still love United 93, however. (And I didn't know the 9/11 Commission determined that Todd Beamer probably never said, "Let's roll.)

I totally agree with you, Barry. I liked World Trade Center a lot, but not near as much as I liked United 93. I'm not even sure that "liked" should be the word used for that movie, it was very moving, I "needed" to see it. I will never forget how incredibly sad I was on September 11, 2001 and for weeks afterwards. I hope I never have to experience it again.
I can't make myself watch either movie. I don't know...kinda like what you've said, Boop--I lived watching it already....I don't ever want to "see" it again. And, like The Passion of the Christ, I couldn't get motivated to watch it when I was standing in BB looking for my weekend entertainment. I did buy PoftheC and make myself watch it on Easter.
