I wonder if some of the people that audition really do think they are good at singing, or if other people have actually told them they are. And if they have been told, was it because of a cruel joke or pity.
My sister has a friend who is a terrible singer. But she honestly thinks that she is good even though people have told her how bad it is. She refuses to admit or accept the fact. Some of those people it maybe a joke but I think of her every time a bad singer comes on the show.
