Let's go with this very loose policy:
- Try not to cuss like a sailor
- Try not to be crude to such an extent that your average Wise County Resident would go dropped jaw
- Try not to make reference to "Britney's S&^%$". (Buddy, I'll miss your Short Bus wit.)
- I'll approve basically anything else - no matter how much I disagree with it.
- I might change the policy later on.
- That's about it

The Messenger took down their forum because of all the hateful racist comments that escalated until someone's dog was murdered then the posters taunted the dog owner. Very sick.

Regarding comments like "I'd tap that *$$" or "Britney's $^@%(#", I think people should probably expect stuff like that when they click to view the comments on certain of Barry's posts.
I mean, if there is a T&A post, then any comments to that post are probably going to be a bit slanted toward T&A talk. Some people enjoy a bit of juvenile T&A banter from time to time, some don't. For the latter group, you might want to just NOT click those posts.
On the other hand, as far as the "Go #$%@ yourself!" comments and other ad hominem attacks posted within other threads (mostly politics!), these really have no place here.
I am content to ignore them myself, and all things being equal, would prefer that they not be censored (when someone posts a comment like that, it tells you a lot about that person, so I find them useful in that respect), but I can understand a blog owner's desire to clean up this sort of thing. My suggestion would be that the blog owner utilize the comment editor to delete them rather than take the "prior restraint" approach, but that's just me.

I agree to an extent. If there is a post deleted then the threads get hijacked as to the validity of the censure. Which may be 'genius' in delivering more sophomoric debate. However, if Barry plays 'OZ' and preempts an offensive comment then we do not know the need to have such debate.
I just want to go on the record here and state that hhl cannot rap but has a killer pop and lock routine, and regularly practices to the sounds of the Spice Girls.
