Decatur's Economic Development Web Site

I'm not sure about the eagle landing on the courthouse causing the American flag to be unfurled. Here. (It's on the top banner - you can reload the page to see it again.)

Is that an eagle or a pteradactyl?

I love this page on their site:
Note: I wrote the erroneous word in all CAPS)
"The Decatur Economic Development Corporation in corporation with many partners throughout the City of Decatur is now EXCEPTING applications for employment. These applications will be held on file and forwarded to companies that are hiring within the city as requested.

You may print the application and mail it to:
604 B West Main Street
Decatur, TX 76234

Or fill out the form, print it for your records, then click on the “Submit by Email” button.

If you need further assistance please see our “Contact Us” page.

This is not for employment with the Decatur Economic Development Corporation."

The even sadder part is they paid somebody to do that for them. If you follow the link, it is an agency in Chicago. Not exactly supporting local businesses are they?

Whoever did that Flash needs to be beaten with their Wacom.

The more I look, the more grammar errors stick out and the general horridness of that site emerges. Not only that, it doesn't render properly. Someone visiting that site would tend to think a slack-jawed yokel put it together, and they'd be right. And hopefully they would avoid this hellhole.

Say what you want but I like the Eagle on top of the courthouse. It is befitting of the general order of things in the county.

Whoever put the "Eighter" dice on the logo needs a raise.

It aint about spellin, its all about bidness anyways!

I would like the Decatur Football sign put out back in front of the Courthouse.
