But I managed to see
The Lake House today.
It reunites Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.
It basically is about two people communicating via letter with each other although one lives in 2004 and the other lives in 2006. Overall, it's not bad - a little sappy - but not bad.
But whenever you have people jacking with the past and the future, I spend most of my time getting Confused Head because I spend all my time thinking "wait, if he does x in the past won't that effect y in the future." (
Back To The Future comes to mind).

I'm with you, Barry. Movies like that make me have to use my brain.
Good movie but you realy had to follow it! It'll be one I'll watch again - I'll understand it better the 2nd time around.
Time travel is a simple concept All it takes is the ability to go faster than the speed of light. We can do it, but it takes a lot of rockets to get a person moving that fast. Here's how.
The space shuttle is orbiting at about 17,000 miles per hour. What if, attached to the space shuttle, was another rocket that could go 17,000 miles per hour that could be fired from the shuttle already going at that speed? OK, now we're going 34,000 miles per hour. Now if that second rocket had an attached rocket, the third would have a starting speed of 34,000 miles per hour and would achieve 51,000 miles per hour. And so forth. The speed just builds. Well all it would take is to repeat that process about 40,000 times at 17,000 miles per hour each time, and you've got the speed of light. That's the easy part. Then, you have to be able to look back at the earth with a really strong telescope. If you did, and could see detail, then you could look at the earth as it was back whenever. You pick the time. No different than us looking up at any given star, and seeing it as it was 20, 50, 1,000 or a million years ago. Even when you look at the moon it is as it was 2 seconds ago. Has anyone seen my medication?
1:07 - you give me "confused head"!
