Cans of starch are on the list as well. Just recently had one removed from my checked bag, replaced by a little note.
Just think of these things as quarter sticks of dynamite, give it up or better yet, think and don't pack it, get on the plane and get on with your life. You can purchase what you need on the other end.
Dropped off a 19yo at the dfw airport bound to lax.....extremely glad they check for all the "little stuff" as well as the big stuff! Hope they keep up the good work. Saw a group of what appeared to be middle eastern descent at the airport.....wow....it took them a looong time to get through! Feel sorry for those....but wouldn't change it!
Could you imagine how happy the little stores are with all the little smokers coming off the flights?
How much does one pay for a lighter in an airport store.

Can you imagine how happy the tax collector is with all the free market transactions at those little shops. I'm sure it's not just lighters that have a huge mark up. If a smoker has sense, which is an oxymoron, he or she or it will wait and go outside where all the other smokers are and bum a light. They will surely oblige because most smokers are friendly people. And then everyone can die and live happily everafter.

probably no more offended than when it takes me a loong time to get through.....searched......shoes off.....double-checking......but unfortunately I would imagine it happens more often to them. but I'm not real sure how you would change that......suggestions?
