. . . tonight had a whole hour dedicated to "Texas' Roswell - A mysterious airship crashes in the small town of Aurora, TX". It was filmed in 2005. (They've even put it on a DVD.)

Does anyone honestly believe you put all the pieces of a craft capable of interplanetary spacetravel down a well?
The only reason they wouldn't want people looking in the well is because it would disprove a legend they want to perpetuate in order to draw attention to a sleepy anemic town.

Hate to admit it, but I watched the whole thing - it was like an accident scence - I just couldn't pull away.
Amazing what tripe the History Channel shows as 'fact.'
Now, if they could only get into that well they could find the truth...
