I agree with Mary Mack that he was a key player, BUT I think EVERY PROFESSIONAL athlete is a role model to kids and his "art" on his body is wrong. I have a tattoo, but it is not where everyone can see it. I am glad he and his tattoos are gone. I bet Cuban is as well......
10:41 - just wondering why you chose to have a tattoo carved into your body? Are you more beautiful? Is it for identification? How has it improved your life?
I don't think he was much of a key player this year at all. Much less in the playoffs. Hence the trade.
I have a tat on my shoulder. It really doesn't add anything to my life but it hasn't taken anything away either. It was just a personal choice and it doesn't show unless I don't have a shirt on. I am fat now and nobody would want to see that.
Kay & I both have our blood type tattooed on our left side (on the seventh rib - I think)! We were in High School during those duck-and-cover "cold war" days in the Calumet Region (steel mills & oil refinerys) of Northern Indiana near Chicago. I think it was sponsored by the Civil Defense of Lake County. The supposed idea was that during a nuclear conflict that it would be useful in case there was need of donating or receiving blood transfusions! I have never found anyone from any other area of the country who has this? (I checked classmates at a recent High School reunion and it seemed like about 90% or more also have the blood type tattoo!) I am "O+" and my kids thought I had been stamped with an "OK" tattoo like they do on a side of beef at the stockyards!
Have ya'll see his front-side or underarm tats? There's like a paragraph - what the heck does it say? He must like pain. Or, he is living up to his name - Marquis - a marquee of some sorts - only he knows for sure. Here's another link of some of his tats for ya........ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tiangotlost/111053548/
Wow, Raymond, that is just totally weird. Never heard of such a thing. Could there have been some escaped Nazi's on the City Council up there when they did that to ya'll? At least you know your blood type.
I have a tattoo with 140 words on my back along with 7 other tattoo and im on 19 and i really dont understand why you all think it is such a problem that he has these tattoo... does it make him a bad person to have them?

I just don't understand why these guys (and many girls) think that graffiti all over their body is cool. Just don't get it.
It is interesting and unfortunate that he got traded. He was a key player during the playoffs!
As far as his "graffiti," at least he's into geography.
I used to live under his left armpit!!! Gross!!!
And the team that beat the Mavs reside right above his ***. Ha Ha

Well that begs the question of why would you mark your body somewhere that no one would usually see it?
Again it makes no sense.

Interesting story Raymond. Crazy shit has always been going on!
In Runaway Bay, there are people who practice a form of
