News

A DMN letter to the editor writer once wrote that Enron president Ken Lay, even though found guilty of a variety of federal charges, would never spend a day in prison. I made fun of her for that belief. Well, he or she was riight: ABC News just reported that Lay has died of a heart attack.

Think about it. Wouldn't you fake it and then go away?

Barry,
I know you do not post but I have a question: Since this ends the criminal case? If he was to be fined by the government will that disappear also?

Too bad he didn't spend time behind bars. His fine should be doubled. Or maybe his poor wife could spend time for him. Did anyone see the special right after they were indicted where she was wanting everyone to feel sorry for her for having to sell all of her valuables??? Pitiful!!! Didn't get my sympathy!
