She and the Terrible Church Singer have upset Heaven.

Okay. You had your 15 minutes of whining..i mean fame....now shut it.

Good for her. Freedom from religion is the new abortion.

Anonymous said...

Awesome! Thanks for standing up for the constitution!

Anonymous said...

There will be no atheists in hell.

Anonymous said...

Way to go Jessica!

Another Atheist making "being an Atheist" a religion.

LMAO

Darb said...

I hate bashing an Atheist being one myself but this girl is only looking for attention. Did anybody even realize that the Harry Potter Books are just a childrens version of the bible? Same stories and events just different charactors. How could someone who is anti religion not see those similarities. You like Potter = you love god!

Anonymous said...

Good for her. And 2:56, I don't know that she was doing it for fame.

Athiests will be the last group terrorized by their fellow man after blacks/other races and homosexuals. In this day and age it's easier to come out as gay than saying you don't believe in a magical man in the sky. And with current politics it will get worse before it gets better.

As an atheist, I can say that I couldn't care less if someone chooses to place a biblical message somewhere in public..
As long as it doesn't use public funds, or demonize somebody (other than related fictional characters like the devil).
A true atheist shouldn't mind silly fairy tales on a wall, on money(in god we trust) or before a game... why? because it doesn't matter and it makes the believers feel good without any real cost. Once it begins to cost public money, then that's my money, and then I have an issue with it.

That my friends is what is wrong with the country. No morals, no direction, nothing to believe in. Why does it only take 1 idiot to get their way? I'm saddened by this.

No where does the Constitution separate Church and State. If the sign said, "Damn you all Atheists" then that would be unconstitutional. We have a freedom to practice religion whenever and where we want.

This just shows you that her beliefs were just pushed on that of the community.

The courts should know better. This is what happens when you have a society that has failed to truly study the Constitution, the founders and the people who molded America.

Now, and for the last 100 years, we are creating a new and completely different country.

a self-proclaimed nerd who loves Harry Potter and Facebook.

That's rather redundant isn't it?

What an idiot this girl is. A spoiled rotten, "it's either my way or not" brat. Her parents should be ashamed for raising such a sorry excuse of a human being.

I, myself do not believe in any form of higher being but, I would never ask or demand others who do believe in whatever form of higher being they choose, refrain from expressing their beliefs.

Anonymous said...

She looks like an indignant liberal biatch alright.

Anonymous said...

Whatever happened to majority rule? If the majority of the people want it, why not leave it? It isn't hurting her. What's next, our money? We're losing our country thanks to idiots like her, her parents, and the justices. I don't deny her right to be an atheist, but I don't want her denying others their beliefs.

Anonymous said...

So do we get a hot chick to take us into the weekend? Or is it just gonna be the fat, godless heathen?

Anonymous said...

Wow. Really. Seriously. Was the prayer next to a "colored" water fountain or a white water fountain??

Anonymous said...

It is always sad when one person gets their way over hundreds or even thousands of other persons, and then claims that the constitution backs them up.

The school my kids go to does have PRAYER in it!

At no other time in history has a society needed to be free from Christianity. We have created a attention- hungry population.

Now can we get all references to a God removed from the Declaration of Independence? And prohibit printing or exibiting that document in our schools and universities? It is in violation of my rights.

I find it amazing that 1 individual can upset the apple cart of the great majority.

What happened to majority rule?

Earth is about 4.5 Billion years old. Christianity was dreamed up a couple thousand years ago. As I get it, we didn't evolve. Some magic man spawned a rib woman, she met a talking snake. The talking snake (very smart, but with unknown motives) cajoled the rib women into eating some sort of super-magical fruit that made sin exist. Now, Christians must telepathically communicate with a Jewish zombie and swear allegiance to him in order to live up in puffy clouds forever after we pass a saint that acts as the doorman. Makes sense to me.

3:19,
Yes, she's looking for attention. I was raised in an atheist home. It didn't matter when we lived on base b/c there was no religion in school there. But, when we lived off base and attended the local schools, religion was everywhere. Instead of making a big stink & trying to get attention, we always went along with the majority. When in Rome . . .

What is wrong with living by a set of rules that encourage someone to help others, love others, be kind and helpful? Non believers are so frustrated with their own lives that they have to try to destroy thise that are content.

Misery loves company.

Unbelievable.

Thank God I won't have to put up with people like this for eternity!

4:26, all schools can have prayer. Just pray, that's all a kid or teacher or other person there has to do. And just because there is a sign on a wall does not mean there is a single prayer happening in that school.

On the Sixth day God created Man and rested and on the Seventh day he created Woman and nobody's rested since.

A nice little view into how fully schizophrenic our system truly is.

It was never designed to allow one nutball to have such an effect on our population at large.

However it WAS designed to prevent one person from being run over by the so called majority.

Eek, Oh my God there's an inscripted reference to God on a building! Burn it! Tear it down so it doesn't harm one little precious snowflake.

Uh, wait don't we understand our rights come from a creator? Mmm- kind of a God Guy...?

Anonymous said...

You don't have to be atheist to oppose schools teaching religion. That's my job as a parent, not some state employee. Go to your room, close the door and pray.

Anonymous said...

7:12 -- you have no idea what you're talking about.

Christians didn't have this kind of problem a few hundred years ago. This little girl would have been declared a witch and set on fire. The fear (and myth) of Chritianity is gradually losing ground. People are getting smarter.

Anonymous said...

Unfortunately, only certain angels will watch her burn in hell.
I hope she matures before her demise.

Anonymous said...

As a Christian I hope she realizes what Christianity stands for.

As an atheist I hope she gets raped, left for dead, and leads an eventual depressed life always flashing back to that cold night.

You see, Christians know the present is as bad as it will ever be.

Atheists know the present is as good as it will ever be.

The people burners of days of yore weren't Christians, but I'm starting to think they may have had the right idea at times.

9:29, on the 6th day, God created a bunch of males and females. Funny how everyone thinks the Adam was the first man, when the Bible is so clear otherwise. Plus, it explains how Cain was "abel" to go "over yonder" and find him a woman.

Anonymous said...

I agree that she was probably spoiled through childhood therefore used to getting things her way. I also believe that everyone should be able to have their on thoughts and believes without pushing your own toward them. I'm still going to pray that that young woman comes to her senses before the end of time!

Anonymous said...

Bashers of Christianity, don't be so envious! Christ is waiting for you too. All it takes is total release of this world's problems that weigh so heavily on us all and asking Jesus to take them from you. Believe in your whole being that God sent his own son to take those burdens from us. Once you truly admit that, you will actually FEEL a lift. You will feel the Holy Ghost move into your soul and become your defender.
It's easy to bash Christians, but it is easier to become one and enjoy HIS walking with you each and every day. Try it.

I don't believe in cowboys.
I'm going to have the Dallas cowboys remove all things cowboy because I'm offended.

At my school there is a school song written on the wall that mentions cowboys. I want a tarp to cover it immediately!!

9:38 presents a simplistic ad hominem irrelevant to this topic.
The simple "prayer" presents noble ideals but crosses over the line with "heavenly father". This is a particular religion - just what your founding fathers were careful to avoid. Jesus never promoted "churches" but only to be religious by yourself. This girl objects to the hocus pocus implied by Christian religion and promoted in a public building.
Our Constitution is not here to protect the majority - it is specifically designed to protect the rights of the minority and the weak.

"As a Christian I hope she realizes what Christianity stands for.

I'm pretty sure your outrageous comment is NOT what Christianity stands for. I know for sure that is not my perspective. I suggest you run that one by your minister. I doubt strongly he/she will concur with your distorted view and will be appalled at your suggestion of ill will on this young lady regardless of her views on religion.

I wouldn't want to go to school if I were this girl- I would be afraid of what would happen to me!
I can't believe we have so many atheist in this comment group- this is what the world is hurting from!
I guess they will tear down the US Court building because It has the 10 commandments on its top-
Or didn't you Atheists know that-
God will judge America--- history tells-

The only things I know in this debate: she already thinks this will be one of the proudest moments in her life, but it's one of the darkest. When she matures a little bit she'll hate herself for it.

Anonymous said...

2:11.
No. It's the same.

2:44,
"Ill will"?

Go back a read the above comment. I think the poster did a good job of describing the difference between a atheist mentallity and a Christians.

2:11,
It's there to protect the majority. Ad homosexual your way back to an "occupy" station.

Christians didn't burn heretics at the stake? You need to read more.

The worst part of this story is the prayer was on the wall for 49 years. Should have never been there.
She needs to sue for every year it was there illegally!

The Republican Teabagger Religion would be tolerant of Wicca, Muslim, and Satanic prayers hung on the walls of government and public places as well as schools, public and private, along with the Christian Prayers and commandments. Hang up all prayers. If one religion is allowed, all should be allowed. Freedom of religion covers it all.

If that is what you believe, do us both a favor, leave the present NOW and take 3:03 with you. You will obviously be happier(according to your professed view) and the line at Wal-mart will be shorter for the rest of us.

I'd hit that.

Ok I just watched the video and I am not from either towns I can see why he gave her one tech she is loud but the second one was obviously personal and he did cheat them from their game. There is no other way to say It one was deserved and one Was personal so who did this hurt in the long run? It was the boys and they are the ones that matter In this event!
