At somepoint, rains fall hard enough that it will over come drainage... unless you build a ridcuously expensive system. You won't pay for it with your taxes and neither will I.

Sometimes I think that cities ought to be able to charge the idiots who knowingly drive into water like this and have to be rescued.

Your right. I couple of folks drown every once in a while driving down a major highway...I mean...would should they expect? Safety?
So that was my problem. It was really all about the drainage.
