Tom Brady's House Is Finished Just In Time To Go To The Super Bowl

More.

22,000 square feet. Built from scratch on land that was purchased for $11,000,000.

Now that's a one-percenter.

Let the liberal envy begin. No countdown needed.

Be careful, Mr. Green. Your going to make the Democrats and Liberals jealous.

And the pool isn't shaped like a football? Not even a helmet?

You should point out that his significant other does pretty well herself. If I remember correctly from a recent article I read about this couple, her net worth was higher than his.

Just last year, Gisele made $45 million, Tom made a mere $31 million. (Forbes)

I guess we know who wears the pants in THAT house.

He's only a one percenter because so many of the 99 percenters freely reach into their pockets and buy tickets and merchandise; or watch him play on TV.

Thank you very much---I'll take my simple life. Besides, that house is UGLY! 22,000 square feet doesn't come with a happiness guarantee anymore than my 2,000.

Very nice, and almost big enough for Tom's ego.

If someone wants the house and has the money, then more power to them.

In all sincerity, though - it might be a lack of imagination on my part - what is the practical purpose of a residence that large?

Unless I was housing my entire extended family and all of my friends, I do not know what would be in all of the rooms that must be in there.

I have stayed at Marriotts smaller than that. And not as nice.

Wondering who the heck is Tom Brady? Don't bother answering..I really don't care who he is.

I'll take that house....and Tom Brady. Nice.

Some resent the ridiculous income of the 1% but the Occupy folks are asking that they pay some of that excess in taxes. Do you suppose the Bradys would object to paying 30% on their income? That might leave them with only $50,000,000 per year to cover their rent and groceries. Now if they paid the 14% rate like Romney, they'd have $10 million more to hide in the Caymans (doing our economy no good at all).

And doesn't he have like 6 kids or more?? I could live there. Easily.

I would want my pool shaped like one of them Vurginas or somethin.

Anonymous said...

I bet they don't pay enough taxes.

Anonymous said...

That pool is the shape of a classic Bob Hayes pattern. The zip, down and out

Anonymous said...

I'll bet they pay more taxes in one year than most of us have in our lifetimes, combined. And you libs still don't think it is enough.

What a scumbag! I love the irony of 50% of the 99ers will be cheering for a 1%er in about a week.

A big house...meh. I ask you, does he have miniature giraffes?

I didn't think so. Winning!

Also, I hear Tom only has Dish Network. Loser!

I'm not really sure who Tom Brady is.

Gisele? Isn't that something a cheetah takes down on the plains in Africa?

The planning and construction put a lot of tradespeople to work. Good for Bundchen and Brady. The upside to this residence is when the Bundchen-Bradys sell, the new owners more than will do a demo and build to suit. The virtuous circle of capitalism works again. There's no liberal jealousy on my part.

One practical reason for a house that large is business and charitable entertaining. Not that I've ever been to a function at a residence like that.

I'm pretty sure Tom Brady doesn't play the kind of football Gisele understands.

What a dump! I hope that's just quarters for the help!!

And building that house employed 40 construction workers, 15 landscapers, 5 pool guys, and multiple construction companies...not to mention that he spent probably 10-15 million on the materials...which, with an IMPLAN multiplier of 1.8 would have a HUGE economic impact...and he pays more taxes than most of us combined...so I think he is giving his fair share back to the economy...

Liberal envy? Doubt it, that was paid for thanks to the NFL players Union and it's negotiating skills. More like Republican jealousy!!

Anonymous said...

Que the old Cadillac driving Republicans "Sports athletes shouldn't make that much money" comments.
No liberal envy there....just Union envy from the Republicans that they cant get a good contract in their job.

90 percent where wet backs that worked on that house. Way to go Brady keep them working.

Anonymous said...

BUFFETT RULE!

Anonymous said...

I bet he uses wind turbines to power that house...♫

The half of the population that gets "free" stuff from the government are mad because the half that pay for the "free" stuff are getting tired of paying for the "free" stuff. Nothing in this world is "free".

I would have my hand in the same place.

10:46, If that was paid for by the NFL Players Union, I'd hate to see what they pay in union dues.

It's not the republicans that are wanting to tax the crap out of these people. That is why it is liberal envy not conservative envy.

Idiots never learn.

The sad part is that if they really studied their beliefs, a lot of libs actually hold conservative views. But "My daddy was a democrat and his daddy was a democrat so I will always vote democrat". Again, Idiots never learn. This ain't your grandfather's democrat party.

It's the education slashers in Austin (Republicans) as to why I switched parties. They cut staffing at schools and grades suffered. The children are the future.

If a kid's grades are suffering at a school where teachers were cut that kid is either dumb, having comprehension issues or just plain lazy.

I have yet to see anyone in my family suffer due to teachers being cut at their schools. A's and B's all the way.

10:29 typical liberal. Not an original thought in your brain.

I have never heard that comment from a republican. I have heard it from democrats many times.

THINK FOR YOURSELF!

We need to spread that wealth!

Liberals very Happy, look at all the solar panels on the roof! Besides, I'm sure the construction and landscaping of such an enormous house employed many illegals just like Mitts Mansions!
