Unless I was housing my entire extended family and all of my friends, I do not know what would be in all of the rooms that must be in there.

Some resent the ridiculous income of the 1% but the Occupy folks are asking that they pay some of that excess in taxes. Do you suppose the Bradys would object to paying 30% on their income? That might leave them with only $50,000,000 per year to cover their rent and groceries. Now if they paid the 14% rate like Romney, they'd have $10 million more to hide in the Caymans (doing our economy no good at all).

The planning and construction put a lot of tradespeople to work. Good for Bundchen and Brady. The upside to this residence is when the Bundchen-Bradys sell, the new owners more than will do a demo and build to suit. The virtuous circle of capitalism works again. There's no liberal jealousy on my part.
One practical reason for a house that large is business and charitable entertaining. Not that I've ever been to a function at a residence like that.

And building that house employed 40 construction workers, 15 landscapers, 5 pool guys, and multiple construction companies...not to mention that he spent probably 10-15 million on the materials...which, with an IMPLAN multiplier of 1.8 would have a HUGE economic impact...and he pays more taxes than most of us combined...so I think he is giving his fair share back to the economy...
