I hate it, what ever happened to slowing down to smell the roses and enjoying some sight seeing. Not much to look at out west, but everyone drives 10 MPH over the limit and 80 means 90 and more people will die because of this :(
Always looked forward to opening it up on trips to El Paso. Out around Pecos, often cruised at 90 mph. And passed DPS cars on the shoulder who just sat there. Made me wonder how fast you had to go to get flagged when traveling in the wide open reaches of Texas.

I drive from Odessa to El Paso occasionally. Love it when I hit the 80 mph section. Although, on windy days, it gets a little hairy.
I got a little hairy in El Paso once when I was younger.
I think the speed limit should be raised to 75 going through Runaway Bay.

Took the 20 to 10 last summer. If you aren't doing 90 you start contemplating suicide.
If you're not doing at least eighty five out there you need to watch your rear view mirror.
