I have asked the same question several times 5:28. The fire chief and several of the volunteers can be seen with him hanging out eating and other things. I also laugh at the part that the wench and boat motor was used for personal use. I guess that's why they both where at Rhomes fire station? The boat motor was on what they called their swift water rescue boat and the wench was part of the truck and trailer package for the fire dept. Is the city council really that stupid and blind to believe the chief knew nothing about this? wait, I can't believe I just asked that question.

Those guys are more concerned with their toys and being king of their own Kingdom, than what's best for their citizens. They call their buddies for mutual aid instead of who is closest or best suited for the task. I never have understood how a guy on disability is physically able to be a fire chief and go on every call. Must be part of that Rhome code of ethics.

Sounds like the above poster does not see a problem with stealing SIX GRAND from people you are supposed to serve. Nobody is perfect, but since you seem to either be doing or defending the guy, maybe you will pay the six grand back to his probation officer since you see no problem with stealing from others. He stole for personal gain.

The rhome chief and decatur fire chief are big buddies.. Funny that the decatur chief used to work at grapvine.
