Sad to see kids taught to play sports this way. OK, it worked. But so would giving your quarterback a whistle, having him blow it real loud right after taking the snap, and then when the defense thinks the play is blown dead, taking off and running. This is no different, really. Pathetic.
There's nothing wrong with trick plays. That's part of the game. You score however you can. Who's to say that team isn't being taught how to play the game the right way? However, I have a problem with the refs not throwing a flag on the offense for only having 6 players on the line of scrimmage. I also don't feel sorry for any team that gets scored on with players wearing two different colored socks.
