I guess BG thinks this is funny? Idiot!

Well, all I can say is this--don't hire him as a pro football quarterback!!

What a heel. That reporter must have no sole. I hope the Secret Service gave him the boot.

Makes you proud to be an American.

That man is an American Hero, I envy him.

Neat response from Bush. Bet a few folks will get a talking to on this. Surely somebody saw that jerk preparing for the throw.

So much for the Secret Service.

Sorry, but he must have known the other shoe was coming! What a strange culture to insult someone by throwing a shoe or a double insult by throwing both shoes. At least he wasn't mooned!

It was interesting news waking up this morning. Bush responded with humor....

President Bush is pretty darn quick for an older guy!
Boy's got some moves!!

I can not believe that the guy "got off" two shoes before the secret service was there to protect Bush. The good ole days Clint Eastwood would have taken the shoe hit for the president.

And I find it sad that the WORLD Cheers. Is it me or does it speak volumes of what the Bush legacy represents?

That reporter deserves a medal!

It is funny, and he deserved every bit of it and more.

Bush has ruined the lives of thousands of INNOCENT Iraqi's.

What he deserves is a hell of a lot more than a shoe to the head.

Gives a whole new meaning to "shoe bomber".

Like you people who put down Bush could have done a better job with the same givin circumstances. What exactly are you doing to make a difference besides sitting on the side lines and bitching.

Yes we have found the WMD's and they are size 10 shoes from the Payless Shoe store.

Jarhead said...

I'll bet Obama would have let both of the shoes hit him squarely on the forehead and then gave him a tax cut because he has been oppressed by the rich and then got him a low interest loan because even shoe throwers deserve to own a house and then enacted laws banning shoes even though they are guaranteed by the Constitution and then escorted the guy's wife to an abortion clinic and then...

and then...

and then...

Sorry, 8:09, I find it sadder that we have a world which finds acts such as these not just acceptable but praiseworthy.

Guess I'm just a product of my upbringing.

Throwing shoes is such an insult because in the Middle East the bottom of the foot is considered dirty (bad dirty).

And, while there are some small number of Iraqis who are ungrateful, or former Saddam supporters, the vast majority of Iraqis are glad for President Bush's actions there. That man did not speak for the majority, who now have no fear of rape, murder, or genocide at the hands of Saddam.

I wonder how short the life expectancy of the reporter would have been if he had tried that with Sadam Hussein?

"W" Worst President Ever deserves a shoe up the ass.

Austin Powers, Who throws a shoe? Honestly! You fight like a woman!"

9:42 - According to the news out of the Arab world, the journalist that did this is being hailed as a hero, and actually does represent what many Iraqis feel about Bush.

It's an interesting angle, especially when you read the background of the guy that threw the shoes.
