If I'm reading this box score correctly (from the Star-Telegram), the Decatur baseball team dropped two games yesterday to be eliminated from the playoffs. The Eagles couldn't buy a hit.

Hopefully there won't be too many who get on here and call them "losers", "chokers" and miserable failures as is normally the case when a high school team around here has a bad patch.
Sounds like a "bad day at black rock". Good kids and good coaches had a bad day. Congratulations on making it that far in the playoffs!
it all went down hill at the coaching change. i dont think the boys ever played as well again, especially defensively and base running ... my kid included
If I'm reading that right, it looks like the 9 errors would have made it tough to win.
Congrats to those boys for a heck of a season in spite of all the adversity they had come their way.
