"The minute you enter the place, you will encounter the finest service and prime aged beef; a dining experience like no other. In fact, the unique atmosphere, combines the old world elegance of rich mahogany booths, a polished bar and white, crisp table linens with modern, business casual attire. Celebrated by a loyal, repeat clientele, as well as new customers seeking more than just a restaurant, This is a place they can call home. The clubby atmosphere is understated sophisticated, and lends itself to a variety of dining situations, from business meals to friends and family gatherings. From great food to the attentive and seasoned wait staff, it is sure to be a dining experienced unmatched."

Oh, wait. I screwed up. It's just the new Arby's in Decatur.

I'd rather have a Wendy's.

It amazes me that the Arby's and McDonalds started about the same time and how Arby's is kicking McDonald's ass. I hope their service is as good.

You know that roast beef they serve is old dairy cow. But man it tastes good.

Wendy's??? Instead of Arby's, I'd rather have a filet at Del Frisco's or Silver Fox. With the whipped potatoes (with skins and little lumps) on the side. Plus some great corn on the cob that has been carved off the ear and piled onto the plate next to the potatoes. A nice basket of warm bread peeking out from underneath the linen that lines the basket and keeps the heat in, including banana nut and cornbread with a touch of peppers, that justs melts the real butter in a few seconds. MMMMmmm. Warm apple pie in an oversized wine glass for after dinner, don't forget the vanilla ice cream in there. A few nice, fat jelly beans on the way out the door. And on the way home it starts to rain, but you know there's a real good movie coming on that night and besides, it's Friday so it's a good night for a fine meal and a little rain that hopefully sticks around until the morning to make sleeping in all that much more enjoyable.

Fast food places are dirty and full of fat people, the food sucks and is not healthy at all. Gross.

I prefer Frilly's.

Can't wait for Arbys! Sure wish a Luby's/Denney's would come into the area. I heard Bridgeport is getting a Catfish O'Harley's -- has anyone heard that also?

I heard a Denneys is being placed near Allsups on 287.

We really need a new grocery store.

To: BSG
Received unsolicited e-mail the other day telling me how I could make a small fortune by purchasing the writer's program and learning the tricks of copywriting.

If the above referenced training material is yours, hope you received many takers and also
that you will forgive me for not being among them.

If, like Paul Harvey, you were using someone else's material, you have obviously figured out that originality is not necessary - only selective selection.

However, if neither of the above are true/of interest and you are bored with your current profession, I would be happy to see if I can retrieve the e-mail address of the program's owner and forward to you.

Oh, hope you didn't decide on golf.

Arby's doing what it can to employ dipshit minimum wage earners. And if they won't do it, we can always import illegals and pay for their anchor babies, schooling, and dodge them on the highways when they are drunk behind the wheel.

hey 11:58...

what's an anchor baby? just want to know...

Anchor Babies are kids born in the USA to illegals. If the kids are born in USA, then parents also retain certain citizenship "rights" because they are now "anchored" by their kid's citizenship rights. Now...do they PAY to have their kid here? Of course not, tax payers pick up that tab...among many other tabs for them. Something just not right about that picture. Illegals are NOT LEGAL. Last I checked, there were laws against illegal activity.
