Wise County's Poolville lost on Friday night to Eula, 52-48, to end its playoff run. Trivia: Eula is coached by former Decatur resident Josh Fostel (who is the son of Wise County District Judge John Fostel).
And don't accuse me of sucking up to the judge - which I might be doing.
Edit: I noticed that Eula won again on Saturday to advance to the State Finals.

Since when was Poolville in Wise County? Last time I was through there, it was still part of Parker County.
Some people in Wise County have a poolville address although you are correct Poolville proper is in Parker Co.
Didn't realize a team that goes 22-7 for the year and loses in the semifinals was making history. Has no team ever won 22 games or made it to the semifinals of a state tournament? Seems that feat is accomplished by dozens of teams each year. But, if they say it's historic I guess I'm not one to judge. I think I'll just shut up and go over to Starbucks this morning and have an "historic" cup of coffee.
heard from areliable source, he was coming to bport to coach next year.
If Decatur doesn't do it, it doesn't matter.
Congrats to Josh and his team. Way to go Decatur grad! Good luck at state!
