The news media is just getting dumber and dumber in order to cater to the dumbing down of our population. The best chance of winning the lottery? Someone that buys a lottery ticket. Somehow I don't think the vacuum that sucks balls into the slot to form the winning numbers is influenced by the type of person who bought the ticket and what they plan to do with the money.
It is all based on odds. The more old or rich or poor that buy tickets the better their chance of winning, unless you think there is divine intervention.

yep, i think 'dumbing down' would summarize it pretty nicely.
