Edit: Most people agree that the intersection (circled below) would be safer if the eastbound 380 traffic had the option to exit onto Business 380 where the red arrow is depicted.Count me among those people. That's the way it used to be.

I thought "and another" implied a teacher in an inappropriate relationship. Let's not send mixed signals.
I expected to see a debra lafave.
....and I get this.
Who's advising you on these posts?
Transported to Bridgeport? Looks like they will survive after all!
Notice they were transported to North texas Community Hospital by request although the accident took place much closer to Wise Regional. Hmmm? Real competition in the Wise county medical industry is finally here?
I wonder why both wanted to go to the hospital in Bridgeport, when they were that close to Decatur's hospital?
So why is everyone on this blog not all over the fact that the Decatur Schools layed off teachers, due to budget cuts while creating a new useless position in the Maintenance Department and other needless expenditures???
I got all excited only to see a stupid wreck. Not Funny.
And Another---and no teacher involved what's up with that
What is the high-low for the number wrecks between Aug. 1 to Jan. 1? Someone needs to call the Wise County bookie HHHH! Any other bookies?
Dbl Fake - Brett Maverick
Probably they asked to go to Bridgeport's hospital because some Decatur docs won't work out of Wise Regional. I'd have to change physicians. Talk about childish.
Because they can charge more to take you to Bridgeport?
All they need to do is re-open the old exit ramp there and that would solve this problem! There is no need for a stop light, that will make things much worse. Having the exit ramp there would eliminate cars turning right at that intersection.
Double Fake - Dr. Ray / North Texas Community Hospital
Are they gonna have to raise the stop sign like they did the railing at the Ranger's ballpark?
They wanted to go to Bridgeport hospital so they wouldnt have to worry about geting billed.
Excellent map Sir! Im sure that is how most of this county was drawn up.
Count me in too, for leaving the ramp as it used to be. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
Never understood why they closed that ramp in the first place! Is like closing the ramp to merge into 287 business (south of decatur) and forcing people to turn right at that already dangerous intercection (by the huge flag)to get on Bus 287. Anyone can see that would be stupid, so why did they do the stupid closing of the ramp off 380?
Stupidity.... again.... (from another post) more decisions being made from our "tested-to-death" students (now adults) who end up knowing not one dang thing about common sense!
Yes, thank you Barry. I don't know why TXDOT can't see that the simple solution would be to make it like it originally was, not installing a light.
Hey, at least North Texas Bank will still be the best place to get a loan to pay for funeral!
You have to realize that TX DOT engineers are too educated to come up with common sense simple (no brainer) solutions. Mr. Bill Nelson ia apparently one of those engineers. The whole town of Decatur seems to have been designed by a Harvard Grad. Similar to the one in the Whitehouse.
Where did the term straight as an arrow come from?
It did not come from morons like you, 6:44.
You can't see around people turning right. It appears there is no one on the other side until it is to late. Almost happen to me and now I wait until I can see all three lanes completely visible.
wow, I guess those folks in the wreck really had a death wish that day!! First they pull out in front of somebody on 380, then they ask to be transported to bport hospital...
