I should do this more often. I suppose they wouldn't mind since you would see the same thing if you looked down at the paper in the convenience store.
Edit: For the official Internet Record, I received three negative comments that were too harsh to print.

On December 21 2012 we all need to be ready.
Kudos to Mr. Wren. In my few legal dealings with him, I found him to be genial, professional and gracious. I suspect he will bring that same professionalism to the bench.
Stephen will make a great judge
Just pray to God that James Stainton is never a judge!!!!
Judge Wren - has a nice ring to it. He's a fine man and will be a fair judge.
Great for Stephen!
Okay..i still have my reporters card so let me add a few more gentle observations..why would you plant a tree until Septemebr, its to hot and dry right now and it does not stand a chance..at least go get a bottle of the revive root stimulator at HD and it will help, it also will bring around trees that are having heat stress right now..secondly YES call that contractor back and give him his light..and final, you have got to get a hold of your Landscape scene and slowly and gently take that the reins away from your bride, they just do not have the genetic makeup to handle it..back to you Shoopy
I think it says a lot that Stephen Wren's judge appointment is brought up here on this blog, and not one person bashed him. That doesn't happen often! It speaks volumes about his character. He's a great man and will be a great judge.
I got a bottle of revive root stimulator from my urologist just yesterday.
but does he hate black people ? DFKW
I sure wuz hopping fer tom bichup. i drive a roctruk!
Wren's appointment doesn't really matter. however I find it odd that this is one of the few times that an intrum office appointment was made without a restriction against running for that office.
Congratulations to Stephen. He will be a great judge.
9:04 did you forget about the Weeping Willow tree? LMAO
So is seen a republican or a democrat
I would really like to see the list of those who were interviewed actually it would be worth an open records request at the proper time. Barry did they interview you? would think that a majority of the Wise Co. Bar members (no not the one at Frilly's)should have been interviewed.
Stephen's one of the good guys. Congrats!
11:07, to the best of my knowledge there has NEVER been a local appointment to office where there was an attempt to impose a restriction against running for later election .... for the very good reason that no such "restriction" could possibly be legally binding.
And what lawyer in his right mind would give up his practice for a year, lose all of his staff and clients to others during that time, just to be a judge for a year and have nothing to come back to??
And 1:43, the simple fact is that once Mr. Wren announced his interest in serving, all of the other local lawyers backed off. No one else demonstrated any serious interest or raised any sort of challenge for the post. If there was any other local lawyer who wanted to challenge Mr. Wren for the job, they never said so. He was a consensus candidate.
Stephen will be a great Judge he really pays attention to details, knows the law and gets things accomplished without an unkind word. he is such a fine person.Congratulations Stephen
Stephen will save us!
I believe all three of our Judges came from the same law firm...
Perry/Wren 2012..??
10:22 I smell good ole boys as 4:53 also indicated. I don't have anything negative to say about the man, but my lawyer did kick his butt when Wren represented my EX in our divorce.
9:51 You say nothing harsh brought up on this blog. Remember this blog is censored by the owner, Mr. LL.
I'm personally sick of the good guys in this county.
9:27 Jesus saved us! Judges just think their God.
8:11 you seem to have personal knoweledge in this matter if so you will also know that there was a first appointment that was rejected. Why?? As for what they have to give up that is why these appointments are usually filled by retirees.Public records should answer all questions in this matter once they are made public and if all is on the up and up the no one should have a problem with it.JUST SAYIN
8:35, Jesus may have saved you, but he din't teach you how to spell. It's "Judges just think THEY'RE God." Not "their"... "they're".
And, no pun intended, but that whole statement was a little ... judgmental... don't ya think?
Judges judge. It's the job God gave them to do.
9:10 My Bible says judge not lest ye be judged. With the office comes the heat.
9:10 It's didn't.
You not ya.
It wasn't my spelling just wrong word.
Sorry.
9:10 So are you saying God gave Obama a job to do...
