Congrats to a great run thus far by the Sissies. Last night's game was so good, so fun and such an honor to work, I felt as if I should had paid admission on my way out. Way to Go, Bridgeport!
No question that Bridgeport loses most of its best players to graduation, five out the top six. Three of that five have played together in many off season tournaments and leagues. But, there is a second wave of girls that are sophomores and juniors that have also played together for many years in off season tournaments and leads.
Will the next two years teams be as good as this year's team? While that might appear to be a ridicules question, no one predicted how good this year's team was going to be. Bridgeport has some interesting players coming up in the next two years.
