Anyone besides me think we could use a word better than bloodbath to describe this stuff? Seems uncalled for, it's a word we don't need and for sure don't need to put in print just to add B-movie descriptions to real tragedies. We wouldn't describe a rape victim as "sexed-up"...why do we need to suggest murder victims took baths in blood?
Most likely a weak-minded, book-smart engineering student who for the first time in his life meets his "Kingsfield" and has absolutely no idea how to deal with it other than take people out.
This shows you life can be short. You never ever know. These kids were worried about exams and how hung over they were from the weekend's parties, now they are gone like.....(snap)....that.
I pray for everyone involved. And let's use this as an example that our future is not certain.
Hey, while you're praying for everyone involved (including the shooter) ask why your benevolent, all-knowing God wasted some 33 people in Virginia.

I think 7:09 was asking why an empathetic God would allow 30+ people to be killed by this person. Did they "deserve" to die? Why would God who controls all allow this? Tis mysterious.

I fail to see how a "weak minded" person could shoot at least 31 people. There is a weak mind here, and its the one pigeonholing people.
We need more people that "tell it like it is" than engineers. We've never had a use for bridges, roads, TVs, radios, spacecraft, cars, trucks, planes, or any of that weak minded nerd crap.
