I did something a tad unusual last night: I went and
saw a play in downtown Bridgeport. Being the cynic that I am, I was kind of expecting a live version of a
Hee Haw skit but was pleasantly surprised. It was at times edgy, at times mildly shocking, and at times touching. Yeah, it can be a little rough around the edges but that's what gives it its charm.
The crowd was relatively small and on the older side. That gave rise to some uncomfortable silence at times.
Check it out.

The Off 380 Players have presented a series of well acted and produced plays. The fact that they frequently push the envelop of Wise Co sensibilities is to their credit. Maybe the existence of intelligent life here is not as rare as it sometimes seems.
I'd rather watch Hee-Haw.
Really.
But, glad to see B'port is letting someone express some artistic qualities other than a fake gun fight at Butterfield Stage Days.
I went to see that play and I thought it was great. Who is the blonde in that thing? WOW! She is smoken hot!! She was standing out in the lobby when I left but I hightailed it out of there. If she is going to be in the next one I will be there without a doubt...
8:49, Yeah she is HOT! The play was really good too. I wonder if I could get an autograph from her.
Whatever, Kirk, get back to work!
