A Triple Good Update Today

Link. Another odd coaching vacancy in Decatur, a high speed chase that made it all the way through Wise County without the driver being shot (which is typically what happens), and a tractor-trailer driver whose wheels were figuratively flying off.

This situation is very different from the the recent previous coaching resignation. Coach Berry will finish out all duties regarding his current contract this year, but he has reached the "magic number" for teacher retirement, and is considering his options. He is simply extending the courtesy to the schol district of giving notice now regarding this part of his decision to allow them to begin the process of finding a suitable replacement.

at least this coach didn't have an affair

I was on 380 between Decatur and B'port when that white SUV ( I think it was) went f~l~y~i~n~g past with Decatur Police hot on its tail!! Glad they caught the person! GOOD JOB and THANK YOU!

The driver of the SUV was rumored to be NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip.

He was PO'd that he didn't qualify for the race on Sunday, so he decided to take a little joy ride across Wise and Jack counties.

He didn't walk home after rolling his vehicle this time.

Barry, hope the hallucinating guy doesn't become a court appointed client! But then again if he's that much off his rocker, he's not gonna care what the heck happens.

You all must remind yourselves that Wise County is just a magnet for weirdos and crabs. Aren't you so proud?

I heard the police chase on the scanner, it was strange to hear a rhome cop in the chase, all the way to Jacksboro(?), when the chase never went thru rhome. I quess things were slow since that camera was put in place and he (or she) felt obligated to risk lives when they should not have even been envolved.

Good Job rhome police, remember to vote May 12th.

Rumor is that the DHS baseball coach might get his job back. hmmmm...won't that mean they also have to give that English teacher her job back too? Equal rights, dear!
