Thank goodness they didn't then begin to "apologize" for their levity! I agree, it's all right for them to begin to laugh at something they realize is stupid! What's sad, the "major" national news "anchors" are usually the worst, because they feel they have an "image" to uphold. Notice the importance of "image" with our modern "media". However, Meridith Viera (spelling?) did great with her fall on the ice--she's classy and a "real" person.
