Where are all the people that usually cry about gas prices at? These people are making record profits just like Exxon-Mobil but I never see the hand-wringing when Devon profits are mentioned.
Oh wait, that's right. As long as they keep the food trough full all of you won't utter a word about them.

What is the Devon CEO's job? It is to run the company as successfully and profitably as possible. Job well done. Pay the man. If you want to make that much money, go become the CEO of a major corporation. I would no more begrudge this guy making a ton of dough than I would my neighbor having a green lawn, my friend dating a hot chick, or anyone else's success at whatever. I have the same opportunities before me to be successful in what I do.
I think they can afford to clean up the water before they pump it back into the ground and poison us.
Translation: Higher propane, Higher Gasoline, Higher Electricity, Higher Ect...

Devon is both safety and enviromentally conscious.
Folks, the bottom line is this, many of the county residents are employeed by this company at pay rates that are in the upper 3/4 percent of the average pay scale for similar positions.
If a community needs electricity there would be less complaints about power lines installed above ground than pipe lines that are installed underground out of sight.
Devon is a good neighbor to community and does everything within reason to keep the impact on the enviroment and land to a minumum. If people would take the time to compare Devon's policies, properties, and personel to that of similar companies, one would realize Devon is concerned.
Why because they said so in the ads in the Wise County Messenger?
