I am sure if she gets elected the first bill she will introduce is to outlaw sin. Oh wait a minute, we already have the 10 commandments.

Those fuddy duddy blue hairs in Florida will eat it up. And expect to hear something equally retarded from a Wise County candidate.

One more poor soul who actually believes that it is possible to legislate morality.

Seems a true believer would realize that God must want things as they are, because that is how they are. Is God not God? Or are we once again guessing as to things God does (saves Jim's family from a tornado, makes rain) and things that he apparently does not do (makes a tornado hit Sally's house instead, makes drought). Bad with good. If you believe, then believe 100% and go "all in" as they would say in poker. And wake up to the fact that God must want the things that happen to happen.

The strength of any nation is determined by the righteousness of the people, not the fairness of their constitution. "righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any nation. proverbs 14:34

Righteousness only comes when people believe and commit to the Lordship of Jesus. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation Romans 10:10

Most Christians would love to blame the political condition on "super spiritual" reasons. They love to assume God is judging countries and bringing about their fall.

The truth of the matter is this: If we do not win the lost and develop disciples, our country will become corrupt and fall through the theft, murder, deceit and corruption that we sow.

God does not have to overthrow a corrupt nation; it rots of its own accord.

As the church moves away form God's priorities it loses power and influence. It is then put in a position to create false spirituality.

Gimmicks give away to life and power. Before long, the church is nothing more than a voice. God did not call us to be a voice, we are called to be a force. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. I Corinthians 4:20

When the church returns to Biblical ministry, it will be free from picket lines and the courtrooms.

When political leaders are saved and developed into disciples, they will look to pastors, the Bible and the Holy Spirit for understanding.

In the early years of this nation, the Bible was the guiding principle in law making, education and morality.

We still have the same laws and schools founded by those men. However, with immoral men interpreting the constitution and controlling education, that godly foundation is of no value.

When our judges, political leaders, and educators are won to Jesus, they will have no trouble interpreting our laws of educating our children.

The future of our nation will be determined by the church's willingness to win and disciple the lost.

History is written in the hearts of the believers.

A true Christian lives his/her belief and does NOT try to cram it down the throats of everybody.

The best evangelism for Christ is the living of the life.

Katherine Harris is a politician out to do whatever she can to get votes. And those who elect her can just live with what they get.

A joke.

Anon 2:06 Jesus go into ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS! What do you say about that?

Anonymous said...

I like her tits.

Anonymous said...

She claims that God selects our "rulers." Did God make her fix the Presidential election then?

Anonymous said...

You Guys are clueless when it comes to the Bible! I tell by your response!

Anonymous said...

She didn't fix the election. All she did was certify the counting of the votes. You remember the votes don't you? Remember when all the news agencies recounted them over and over and came up with the same results? No, I don't guess you do since you get all your information from CNN.

2:06 When most people say what you say that are not true believers!

Jesus mad a lot of people mad

mzchief said...

Jesus may have made a lot of people mad but I would bet dollars to dimes a lot of "Christians" are pissing off GOD!

Christians who vote for a candidate based upon the candidate's religious affiliation and demand that the laws of the United States be based upon Christianity and The Bible are NO different than Muslims who demand the laws of Middle Eastern countries be based upon Islam and the The Qur'an.

Exactly - mzchief

Mzchief...I'm a Christian and I agree with you 100%. I don't align myself with most Christians, because I believe many practice counterfeit Christianity.

All the churches around here are so conservative that I will not attend them.

2:17 - if you are a preacher, go to it brother.

Most Christians would take that to mean live your life in such a way that it would BE a sermon.

Mzchief, where did you learn aboour God from. And you might be one of the ones making God angry, by what you write about him and think about him and his word.

anon 7:04:

Our laws were based on the desire of a few wealthy landowners to secure their assets and protect the economy to function in their favor.

They also happened to be protestant christians.

That is in the past though. Society continues to change and evolve. We are constantly called the "melting pot" because we are mixing together and attempting to live in harmony (not always efficiently though)
