I was in the grocery store check out line today when I heard one lady ask another lady what the date was. The second lady had to pull out her calender to find out. Once she said "the 11th" neither acknowledged the obvious. Or maybe it wasn't obvious.

That is sad, but if it was here in Wise County I can understand it.

When I'm at work, I write or type the date about a million times and when I go somewhere to write a check, I forget the date. I can understand, but not realizing the significance - not one but both, that is pretty odd.
Could it have anything to do with their age??
