A half an hour before the Monday Night Football game tonight, we had a couple of crazy incidents. First was a fight between Falcon Kevin Mathis and Eagle Jeremiah Trotter - both were ejected (
video is here - and I've never seen a referee throw a flag before a game). Second, after the fight, the two teams met in the middle of the field and a brawl almost started (
video here).

Trotter cost the Eagles the game. They needed a run stopper. Vick and Dunn just ran all over them.
The Eagles played poorly. They don't look like the Super Bowl champs a lot of people have them picked for.
Just another incident illustrating the deplorable state of affairs we describe as "professional sports"! What "sterling" role models they were that night!
People shouldn't look to profeesoinal athletes for role models, most of them are womanizers, drug addicts, and alcohclics. Why should a man look up to another man as a role model, just because he uses alot of steroids, and can catch, throw, or run a football??????
Let them play hockey.
