Hey, he played for the Rangers too! (Astros...sheeesh) Maybe it's been a while since he's flown anywhere, and he didn't know that these days, you gotta practically strip down to go through the detectors...shoes, belts and knives included.
Oh, give him a break!!! I once forgot that I had a metal fingernail file along with a set of nail clippers on me prior to boarding a flight at DFW.
