Gun Racks

When I was a kid, every pickup you saw had gun racks on the back window . . . with guns on them. Even at the high school. How time's have changed. You know, it's still legal to have a long barreled rifle or shotgun in your vehicle, but no one does it anymore. Theft is probably the reason.

Yeah, that was the good old days. You were allowed to say "God" at school AND carry a pocketknife.

What does God have to do with gunracks?

I remember when they quit lettings bring guns to school. I don't think even the administrators knew the new drug dogs could small gunpowder. School started in September (about the same time as dove season). They must have had 40 kids in the office calling their parents to come pick up their shotguns.

Now no knives too? Soon with 0-tolerance you won't have shop class. With drill bits and awls being deadly weapons and all... Darn shame really.
