How does it get so much press? Because of the extreme "dumbing down" of our press, and our country in general, that's how.
Not really a 'non-story' - things like this are huge in the adoption community. Scams like this really do a lot of damage...it's a shame they take place.
I'm pretty active in the adoption community (I also work in the industry) there is a lot of this going on online...some of it fake and even more disturbing, some of it real.
BG, it was HUGE player this morning on the Ticket. Probably the main story on Muse N the News.
(Wise County did not fare so well, although Craig claimed to be "big" in Wise County...I have my doubts.)
I am tired of the story with the little I've read here! Obviously the media doesn't have much to talk about right now.
