Chickensh*t, but no surprise. She goes where the political winds blow and right now, as amazing as it seems, Gov. Goodhair has the favorable wind at his back as he stokes the flames of the whacko far right base. Sad, sad. Funny how many of us thought KBH would walk away with the governorship. Perhaps we underestimated the depths to which Tricky Ricky would stoop. Gig 'em.

Goodhair is so desperate he is advertising occasionally on Facebook, with his abortion stance lifted up as the MAIN issue. Oh sure! Lots of religious stuff goes through FB - must be run by a bunch of Republican religious fanatics.

...yep, the far right whacko base that 4:28 mentions is alive and well.....

When did Obama resign his seat?

I think it's cool that NASA said they discovered water on the moon.

Why in the hell would you resign your seat early to let your political opposition appoint someone to it? If she did resign, I wouldn't vote for her, because her actions would confirm she is an imbecile. As it stands now, I will stick to my philosophy of NOT voting for the incumbent. (Even though Texas is one of the states that is not in debt).

Perry has screwed with K-12 education enought that I would never vote for him. Robert Duncan is still the most dangerous man for teachers in Texas though.

She's not in yet...

Republicans did not want the White House back this time. Case in point, Sarah "15 minutes of fame" Palin....
Obama will go down as the biggest crook and least qualified ever.
1. Letting people come into our country with Aids.
2. Moving trials out of Gitmo
3. George Soros oil deal.
4. Michelle's high upkeep.
5. Lied about handling the wars.
6. Catering to Goldman Sachs

and on and on and on and on.

Double fake your standing in front of my teleprompter.

Well what do you expect. She wants something for nothing. (keep her seat and get paid for not working in Washington). What do expect from a "liberal weinie". Oh wait she is a Republican. I guess that is different then.

5:19 Hank Gilbert, who has come up with some really goofy ideas to change Texas forever.

7:19 Why do you think Texas is not in debt? What will be any better in our public schools if our state can't pay for public education when it can't pay its bills?

I use to hate Rick Perry but he is talking common sense about immigration and how Texas is being punished by dumping illegals caught coming across the border in California and Arizona here in Texas. Of course that may be a way of increasing the Latino voters when they are given amensty.

Perry is in tune with Texans being fed up with all the corruption and Chicago style politics. He will win the Primary and that is why Kay is not leaving her senate seat to run for govenor. Just like John McCain did not resign his senate seat to run for president.

The speech Perry made in Midland about Cap and Trade shutting down Midland applies to Wise County. If radical envirnomental activists have their way, we will all be in the poor house and not able to pay for electricity provided by wind and clean energy in order to save the planet.

It is time everyone who can figure this out needs to speak out to stop this silliness now.

Texas not in debt? We would be to the tune of 12B that's with a B had the FEDS not ante uped with the bailout/recession money.

The next lege is going to be tough so not sure either of these two lightweights can handle it. It is funny that the term "Goodhair" sorta makes you stop and think who is being talked about.

Both have to play up the Wing nuts as Texas is one of a small group of states where they are such a pervasive majority.......all states not known for the intelligence of their population.

Sorta reminds you of the Baptist fighting over who believes the Bible more.......wait I think I think quite a few Texans are Baptist.

When a conservative does this it's considered chickenshit, but a liberal weenie is considered smart for doing it. You hypocrites make me sick, especially TxSheehan.

8:04 and 8:36- you can say that again!

Glad you asked moron.

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local-beat/Texas-Budget-Surplus-Makes-Legislators-Look-Good.html

About $11 BILLION surplus. But, the MSM says it's more like $2 billion because $5.7 billion is rainy day fund and requires supermajority of legislators to release and $3 million is for property TAX CUTS promised, leaving ONLY $2 BILLION actual ready to use surplus.

http://www.kwtx.com/home/headlines/18782879.html

But, by all means keep spouting your ingnorance of the facts.

As far as education goes, Perry continues to resist increased spending despite increasing fed requirements for NCLB standards and increasing student population (albeit illegal immigrants). So, he can talk about borders, but he's not doing shit about them. Duncan is worse by far as he continually tries to reduce Texas teacher retirement benefits in midstream, and the only reason they haven't been cut is because of constitutional mandates.
