How can you crap up a game in the last 2 minutes? Oh wait, have a coach with his head up his butt!!

Anonymous said...

where is coach harrison when you need him????we hadnt had a winning season since he left dhs......

Hopefully Story watched the cowboy game lastnight and learned how to run the clock out!!!!!!

Did anyone notice at the 2:40 mark when B'port scored that the running back was in motion way before the ball was snapped?

Coach Henson tried to beat Decatur with just his son. Then finally got his head out if his a&$ and realized his son sucks and is slow so he decided to use the team to do the dirty work.

Double Fake Cody Henson

Easy analysis of this game....Bridgeport won despite its coaching, and Decatur lost because of its coaching.

Great game, but Bridgeport folks need a lesson in sportsmanship and decency. Sorry, but high school students chanting bulls*%t and holding up BS flags should not be tolerated. Bridgeport players acted better on the field and after the game than the fans in the stands.

Who cares?

Your kid must be in the band...

Donald Ray would have made that kick.

Double Fake D.R.C.

Chase Chapman has still got the touch. He could have beat those nasty old Bulls.

AMEN Anonymous 1:54PM. I am from Bridgeport and VERY disappointed in how the student body conducted themselves. They were asked several times by parents/adults to watch their language.....

Anonymous said...

talk about Bridgeport fans and how they act in the stands??? Lets talk about how the Decatur students (girls) defaced the parking spot of Leslie Denison and the cheerleaders cars Thursday night!! Where is the sportsmanship and decency there?? This is not tolerated nor was it neccessary!!
Decatur students have stooped to an all time low!

Anonymous said...

Did you ever consider that the Decatur students did not do that, but it was B'port people doing it to get the B'port kids riled up?

It's happened before.

AMEN ANON 3:44.......

Anonymous said...

Please!! They were caught in the act!! Don't try to make excuses!!

Anonymous said...

3:57,

maybe it never occurred to the "B'port people" that their own could have done it because THE DECATUR CHEERLEADERS RESPONSIBLE WERE CAUGHT BY POLICE IN THE ACT!!!

you probably think 9-11 was a conspiracy acted out by our own government and Dick Cheney blew up the levy that flooded New Orleans during Katrina!!

Moron!

Anyone who watched that game watched the "henson" show... Henson calling his own boys number, what, 7 times in a row to start the game? Ridiculous.

First game in a long time where everyone in the stands was talking about how bad the coaching was. Of course, none of the staff would say anything about it. They are to intimidated.

if decatur played like that the whole season they would have a game next friday. also imagine if hodges would have thrown a half way decent pass and hawkins would have caught it, story would be a hero. little henson breaks alot of tackles, is one of the top passers in 3A, and the boy is 17. cut him some slack.

What a game!

What a rivalry!

What a night!

I hope they keep playing for many years!

Anonymous said...

There have been pranks between the two rival teams going on the week of battle of the big sandy for years. this isn't an all time low. And Leslie's parking spot was obviously not intentionally defaced, Decatur students know how it feels considering they experienced the loss of Chelsea Lunt. And it wasn't the Decatur cheerleaders, it was a group of seniors, that weren't caught in the act or caught at all.
And the bridgeport cheerleaders toilet paper their own school each year for some odd reason.

Anyone notice the kicker from BP? A bit inconsistent but when he connected it was impressive

If Decatur would've had their bond- denied astro turf stadium, they would've won,but if Henson would've had Corbin Green still on the team, the bulls would've easily handed the Eagles their A@# !!!!! Go Bulls!!!

4:32, 4:53,
Calm down. I didn't know if kids were caught or not, and obviously there is a question about that according to 9:30 comment.

Decatur kids are good kids, as I'm sure are the B'port ones. Pranks during the week of the game go back farther than all of us on this blog. I feel sure whoever did the prank didn't realize whose parking spot it was.

You might trying giving people the benefit of the doubt. At the very least, your blood pressure will benefit and you might even be more pleasant to be around.

Anonymous said...

Hey 6:11 dont know what bubble you live in, but those kids from Decatur new whose parking spot it was. R u kidding me????? I am from Decatur but this was a classless prank pulled by a bunch of punk kids.

Anonymous said...

3:44 STOOP ON THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I have a hard time envisioning a scenario where Decatur kids sat around and plotted to specifically go to Bridgeport and deface Lesley's parking spot. I mean really -- don't you think it would be a whole lot more reasonable to think it was a bunch of kids that just wanted to do something to remember their Battle of the Big Sandy Senior year and that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE the whole thing has gotten blown TOTALLY out of proportion??? There were NO POLICE involved and yes, while Decatur kids were there throwing raw hamburger at B'Port kids, B'Port's OWN kids were there saran wrapping their own football teams cars in an effort to get them fired up like they do every year!!! Let it go!!!!!!!
There are so many more important things in life!

Anonymous said...

good gosh, all u freakin retards, decatur ppl arent that classless, good lord.....i know exactly what happened....it was a drive-by...they were all in their cars and just drove by and threw the meat out their windows and it all landed in random spots. all yall are trying to make decatur ppl sound so pathetic. it was jsut a typical prank and nothing was done on purpose to leslies parking spot you idiots

Anonymous said...

The more I read this crap the more
I think that you are all idiots. How many of you so called football coaches have ever coached anything more than a pee-wee team? The more you say about the coaches just prove you really know nothing about
football. How many of you have kids on the team but, not playing?
I think you should all apply for a job with the Cowboys. Oh by the way I have no one playing, I still go to games and I respect the coaches decisions. How many hours a day are you with these kids, more than the coaches?

Anonymous said...

The Bport kids were saying "Push It" and waving their arms forward in a pushing motion - it just sounded like bull&^%$!!! One of the teacheers went down and asked one of the students what was being chanted. Sorry you were so embarrassed .... maybe you should have stayed home.

I used to sub at Decatur High School and I lasted three days before I found a new temporary job. The kids there were very disrespectful and walked around with a chip on their shoulders. I grew up in Decatur but will never call it home. I went to school at a different wise county high school. I teach at a school in a near by county and I am thankful our kids act the way they do at games etc. We also lost a student last year and I know for a fact our students wouldnt touch the parking lot if they knew that there was a spot dedicated to her. I dont know if you have seen it but the spot says Leslie Denison and has cones all around it. Now what idiot cant avoid the parking spot with the cones. It is a rivalry none the less but that stoops to an all time low. And for the Bport kids in the stands ... kids have been chanting stuff like that for years. Doesnt matter if its wrong or right its been going on for years, ALL OVER TEXAS! But I attend Bport sporting events and I am not even from there. The kids have more class than any kids I have ever seen in my life! And for the coaches comments... unless you are willing to step up to the plate and take on the job yourselves no need to tell someone else how to do it. These coaches work their butts off day in and day out for your kids none the less!! Coaching is a a tough job. Bport is an amazing community. Decatur needs to take lessons and lose the chip on all of their shoulders, because its rubbing off on your kids. GO BULLS!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Thank you 2:09!!!! If you want to see disrespectful kids go to Decatur. The sad thing is that the Faculty do NOTHING to stop it!!!! I have high school kids and I have seen it for their entire school years!!!!

10:22am, you are wrong. I sat right next to the student section and they weren't saying "Push-it." I am SURE that was what the students said in their defense. Are you really that naive?

10:16am, Don't read it then. Listen, its pretty simple. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A COACH TO KNOW WHAT GOOD/BAD PLAYS ARE IN FOOTBALL. There is no secret training that coaches get that is prohibited for all others. Many people in the stands on Friday nights have A TON of direct/indirect football experience. And they might just have a highly qualified opinion. Unlike your "My dad can beat up your dad" rant.

Coaches, (and teachers), understand their gig when they accept it. You have a very public job that puts your mistakes/kudos and kids' mistakes/kudos on display for the public to judge. No one promised coaches/teachers that the public would be understanding. They deal with it and either enjoy the rewards of the job or don't.

3:17 - YOU ARE WRONG - I was a part of the student section and we were yelling PUSH-IT !!! Maybe some were saying bull^&%$ - but my section was not ... we love our team and we are full of spirit, if you dont like us ... sit somewhere else, like maybe in your car where you will not be offended by the chants, coaching, play calls and whatever else you disagree with ... it is a high school football game!

Mr. Mike Honcho said...

No thank you, "Student 4:10pm". I enjoy sitting in the stands. Actually, I am pretty sure I have played, then watched, and enjoyed more seasons of Bull football than you have been alive on this earth. So yeah, I guess I will just go ahead and keep coming to football games and sitting where I please.

Maybe when you are older you will appreciate the fact that I might not want my 4 year old hearing words at a HS Football game he can't repeat.

"Maybe some were saying bull^&%$"

Yes. Some were. And grinned and laughed when told to knock it off.

But "Push It"? Of course. Please enlighten us... What is the purpose of yelling "Push it!!!" when the Ref's make a bad call? *rolls eyes*

10:38
i bet you your team wasnt as good as this one

Student 4:10 - *rolls eyes*

Mr. Mike Honcho said...

7:12am - I would have LOVED to have played for Coach Henson. My coaches S-U-C-K-E-D.

Student 4:10... your welcome.

Anonymous said...

Your welcome for WHAT ??????????

Grow up!

Mr. Mike Honcho said...

Push it.

Anonymous said...

I am one of the people in the BHS student section, and yes we do yell "push-it", but is meant to sound like "b@##$%^". We say it when the ref makes an obviously biased call. Maybe a couple of the students had yelled BS, but a majority of us yell "push-it", thats why we laughed when told to stop.
