If you are a fat cop you should be ashamed of calling yourself a public servant. Your failure to maintain a fit body is the moral equivalent of an airline pilot with a drinking problem or a neurosugeon with bad eyesight. I find fat cops disgusting.
In all fairness, bullet-proof vests are not kind to the figure ... maybe it's not fat, it's teflon?

Calling a moratorium on comments because they are brutal seems a little disingenuous when you do not disallow worse comments about the POTUS. I guess you will start limiting comments on the pres since "The One" will be taking care of us now.

9:35 - I agree that police officers should be fit as well as coaches. We have several coaches in our school that are very overweight. How can they teach our children to stay fit and healthy if they cannot do the same for themselves? Disgusting is kind of harsh - I prefer the word unhealthy!!!

If there is a bet going on how long it will be before Tom Bishop shoots someone, or gets shot himself,after being sworn in as constable,I would like to have 22 hours 17 minutes and 12 seconds please. My chances are probably not too good with that, but I figured anything sooner than that is already taken!
I know from a "very good source", that these guys work there tails off training and preparing for the worst. think what you want, but when a convicted felon moves next door to you, and you see him haul ak-47's in his house, and vehicles coming and going at all hours of the day, what are you going to do then? I believe the person on the business end of this warrant had been "charged" with shooting at cops, and various other sorted things. Think what you will, but I'm glad the Sheriff's Office has a SWAT Team.
I'd be willing to bet if a "fat" officer of the law showed up when you needed help, you wouldn't tell him/her to get lost because he/she is too FAT! You people crack me up. Take a look at yourselves in the mirror. I'd bet you're not even close to perfect and have plenty of vices that you could very probably do without!

Yeah your right officers should stay in shape. But the fact they have not, does not mean they are not prepared to put their life on the line to save your skinny little A.. which will be happy they showed up, when your a victim. They give up precious hours with their family, so you feel safe with yours. To any of you that make rude comments about law enforcement, I find you to be cowards, who would never have the guts to face danger head on.
