This weekend there was a horrible one in McKinney when two out of three bikes (each occupied by two people) hit a railroad tie on the service road of Central Expressway leaving one dead.
And I'm pretty sure there was a Wise County accident that, fortunately, did not result in a fatality.

FRIDAY WRECK - Jeremy Jackson, 30, of Decatur was seriously injured Friday night when his motorcycle struck a tractor-trailer carrying an oil field rig on FM 51 South at the Sonic Drive-In. Police Chief Rex Hoskins said Jackson was flown to John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth after initial treatment at Wise Regional Health System. "He was coming out of the Sonic parking lot and hit the oil rig," Hoskins said.

the one in mckinney was a horrible yet preventable crash. first off in texas you are required to make sure your load is secure ie tied down so it dosent fall off your truck. second if it falls off stop and pick it up. i pray for the those affected by this and hope that the cops take note and start enforcing the law and making sure that people who are hauling things have them propersly secured and if not hang high so that the roads remain safe for all who travel on them
