A faithful reading Wise County attorney just tipped me off to this. Sometimes I think the practice of civil law is crazier than criminal law.

I think, in many cases, this guy's final "answer" was very appropriate. In examination, lawyers think they are really slick developing questions that limit "yes" or "no" answers to cute questions like, "Have you stopped beating your wife?" What a slimy bit of stagecraft! The witness on the video did a great job of slamming a lawyer into place instead of the other way around.
Of course practicing "civil law is crazier than criminal law." In criminal law usually the only thing a person has at stake is freedom in civil law people may lose MONEY or PRIDE. People do WAAAAY crazy things when it comes to MONEY and/or PRIDE.
Yikes! That is precisely why I hope I am never involved in any legal preceeding. There is no way I could promise that I wouldn't blow my top either.

all of these comments are fine and good, except that the attorneys are providing a piece of the judicial system in our country. And like I've heard before: "This is the worst legal system in the world - except for all of the other ones.
The guy oughtta be jacked up for his profanity! lol
