A Little Hyperbole?

It looks like another big pot farm was found in Dallas County yesterday (yawn). But get this statement tonight on Fox 4 News by DEA agent James Capra: "There's an evil group out there that cares not about our community. Just look around us. Look at how close the homes are. How close this was to the schools. I mean these are people that have no regard for human life and no regard for our community. They are a threat!"

No regard for human life? It's marijuana for crying out loud. Anybody die from smoking a joint lately? Sheesh, the local liquor store is more dangerous. But the DEA needs to make sure it can justify its budget so the comments shouldn't surprise you.

It is too ironic that the new crop was very close to the DEA office. The first crop was on Encore (TXU) property. Man, they have some splain' to do.

If the DEA can get Al Gore III of the streets, I'm behind them 100 per cent.

humm....Who is the blonde in the new profile pic. I am assuming that was from your trip. Looks pretty serious. She is close and has her hand on your chest....

forgot one thing...
She looks really young. Is that good for her for looking so good or good for you for finding a young one?
Which wife will she be?

Wonder what Dudley Do Right Capra does when he gets off work?

Marijuana dealers are evil? Don't people just get stoned, watch Tom and Jerry, and eat Cheetos? Don't people get drunk, get in bar fights, and drive around killing people?

You morons who think smoking pot is ok just flat out amaze me. Pot may not be comparible to meth but it is still a drug and does affect your body and mind. It is a gateway drug that leads people to an unproductive lifestyle.

I truly believe we have reached the time in this country where the majority of the public thinks alcohol is more dangerous than pot. So why doesn't the majority in this country decriminalize marijuana?
Having recently seen the movie Sicko, I believe the majority in this country need to grow some balls and start protesting in the street for what they want.
65% of the public wants us out of Iraq but yet we have no exit strategy or policy. Why? Because the voters in this country are a bunch wimps.
African-Americans comprise less than 25% of the population but when they took to the streets in the 1960s they got what they wanted.

10:34, How many people die because of drunk drivers in this country every year. I am willing to bet it is more than the number of troops that have have died in Iraq. Why aren't you taking to the streets with MADD? And what was it that the Afro American community get by taking to the streets?

Hee, "unproductive lifestyle." Like reading and posting on blogs all day?

It's called education, Barry. Those who are against marijuana are lacking in that area. The local liquor store is much more dangerous. It amazes me that lawmakers aren't smart enough to figure that out.

Hey moron 9:14. Unproductive lifestyles, huh? Depression is a major cause of an "unproductive lifestyle." Have you checked the local pharmacy lately? Hint, Hint. Those "drugs" that are being prescribed for depression definitely affect your body and mind. Evidently, in your pea brain, that's OK.

America! Stop using decongestants! Side effects may cause drowsiness, impaired vision and balance, light-headedness and unproductive behavior. They are a gateway drug to antihistamines, asprin, sleeping pills, cough syrup, vanilla extract and intravenous drug use. Please contact your congressman and tell him/her how you really feel!
