They have many of the Northwest Schools locked down. We just got a call from the NISD office.
Will the kids in the schools ever get to go home? Paper says nobody can go in or out of the school until the guy is caught. Could take months, years even. Somehow we need to figure out a way to create a livable community inside the school building so these kids, if they are in there for a few years or even perpetuity...can live reasonably normal, though compound-like lives.
Best part was that the NISD sends out a blanket warning call to homes, and then cells, to notify the "lock down." They didn't call to apprise of the lift until 3:50! Luckily, the school let the kids out on time, police officer guard and all.....One kid told her mom that she'd heard the "twin brother of the internet perv was out looking for kids." That made me laugh.Glad they caught the loon.
Yeah, we were out planting flowers in the yard, and we realized at about 3:30 that the kids weren't home, and we never saw the bus. Bad parenting? Perhaps, but we did eventually call the school and find out the details. The funny thing to me was that they kept reporting that the guy had night vision goggles. It was really good to know the guy could see in the dark of night considering that the report came down during the afternoon hours. Good thing he had those goggles to help him see in the ultra-dark forest behind Chadwick Farms.
I was on 114 today around 2:00 toady and saw several cops and Channel 11 News had a Van and Helicopter. Came back thru around 5:00 every news channel has there and had helicopters in air. Thank God for the Local News. Oh and the same amount of cops.
To steve hayes...AWESOME fish. Was it recently caught locally? Is it a bass? Please know I have NO real idea what type of fish you are holding but my GUESS is bass. The ONLY fresh water fish I can confidentially identify are catfish and alligator gar.
You know they still can't find this guy???? Amazing.
