Of the two finalists for mayor of Dallas, one of them is gay. If he wins, that would be a trifecta since the Dallas County Sheriff and Dallas County Judge are also a-gay. Not that there's anything . . . .
Edit: At least somebody in Dallas tried to make an issue of it.

Not sure Dallas has gone gay. First, there are issues other than that upon which people vote. Second, even if every single Oakley vote was a gay statement, only about 1 person out of 100 in Dallas voted for Ed Oakley. 15,000 votes against a population of about 1.3 million. 99 people out of 100 in Dallas voted for somebody else, didn't vote, or are not eligible to vote.

If my doctor, dentist or political figure is gay, that's his/her business. All I want is the competence and could care less about their personal lives.
