I did NOT agree with Falwell's brand of crazy especially when he went after the purple Teletubby. That being said, I have to wonder what brand of crazy are the people drinking who are taking joy in the death of another human. Falwell said and preached a BUNCH of crazy JUNK but I do not recall his FORCING anyone to do ANYTHING for which they did not volunteer.
I do wonder what type of "sign" Pat Robertson will claim God is sending due to Falwell as a MORBIDY OBESE person dying of a heart attack. Keep in mind, Robertson declared God was pissed at and zapped MORBIDLY OBESE Ariel Sharon.

You liberals love free speech when it fits your latest cause. Here a guy who said what he believed. You don't like him because you don't agree with him.
He was a little too political (in church) but I found him to be very consistent in the way he lived his life(best i could see). A rarity these days. The answer for most of our problems is not political but spiritual. We live in a fallen world.

I think Flynt is in his 60s. He hasn't outlived Falwell anymore than I have (at age 32).

Mzchief...try reading Slate today if you do not like people trashing the dead! I agree it is in bad taste to trash the dead but when you live a very public life it is important for the world to know who the person really was. The man was a bigot,liar, radical who believed women could not even tell the time of day without a man.
