Borat

The more I see of the new Borat movie, the funnier it looks. On the other hand, the new Robin Williams movie ("Man of the Year") does not look as promising. And how many times can they run the advertisement of the scene where he says,"I did not have sex with that woman. But I wanted to"?

Robin Williams is a tired alcoholic, coke snorting has been. He makes fun of other people with addictions and then checks himself into Camp Betty Ford with his. What a loser.

Scenes in Borat were filmed in northern Tarrant County.

Williams and director Barry Levinson also made "Hello, Vietnam" and "Wag the Dog" both great satires. I only hope this current movie is as good. I don't care where Borat's movie was filmed - it pokes great fun at some Americans. Geeeze, he could have done the entire movie in Wise Co - no end of crazies here.

Ahem!
According to IMDB NO part of "Borat" was filmed ANYWHERE in Texas.

If it had been filmed in Wise Co. they could have called it "Borat hits the glass pipe" !

I heard that the Robin Williams movie only has a few funny parts (like the one in the ad) because Williams' character tries to run his campaign without using humor. I heard it was bad.

Borat looks good.

mzchief the Reuters agent is wrong again. IMDB is not always accurate, as most of a movie's information is not filled in by anybody who had anything to do with the movie.

"Borat" has scenes at the Adolphus, the Mesquite Rodeo, the Premier Athletic Club, and even gets pulled over by a Dallas Police officer.

There were also some "Borat" scenes filmed at a house in Bedford, he was supposedly "selling" subs of the fort worth star telegram. He came around my block, I wasn't home at the time, but my neighbor allowed themselves to be filmed and got paid 200 dollars for it. I dont know if its in the Movie or not, either way, it was pretty funny.

However, when my friends mom came home, she kinda freaked at the idea of them filming, they didnt realize it was a spoof until they told me about it later in the evening. Apparently, during part of their interview/exchange, he asked to use the bathroom and dissappeared for like 15 minutes, then came out hobbling soaking wet with a towel around his waist.

Needless to say the mom kicked him out of the house, but when she went into the bathroom she found what she called his "underwear" or that singlet looking bathing suit thing he wears and called the police.

From what I heard, there is a scene in the movie of him outside the dallas police station looking for his bathing suit or some such thing like that, thats where that scene came from.
