I'm sorry but that is frickin funny !
Funny, but in bad taste.
Losing a loved one is not comic material. My prayers are with the family and his teammates.
oooooooooo! The insensitivity factor FAR outweighs the humour factor!I would imagine it would have been MUCH kinder had the New York Post allowed Lidle's body to cool off PRIOR to having publishing THAT cartoon! The far kinder act would have been NOT to at anytime publish such a callous cartoon but in light of the ethics of today's media, REFUSING to publish that cartoon would have been out of the question.
The cartoon is really insensitive. The angel at the bottom right looks like Lyndon Baines Johnson. Yikes.
The angel looks like Nixon to me but we know he'd be in the other place.
I hate to fly
Get a life ... that's funny !
Makes me really sad for those who find humor in this...
As I read and watch all the stuff about Mr. Lidel, which is very tragic, my mind wonders. I have great empathy for his family, but my mind keeps coming back to something. Where is the coverage about the deaths of all our brave military members who are dying in various places all over the planet. Why don't they deserve at least a mention. Why don,t we interview their team mates and family. My goodness people, think about that.
